Shuttleworth Announces Traveling Showcase: The Shuttleworth Roadshow
May 26, 2021HUNTINGTON, IN, May 26, 2021 – Shuttleworth, a leader in automated product handling solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the Shuttleworth Roadshow. The Shuttleworth Roadshow is a traveling exhibition targeting channel partner and end-user facilities showcasing a variety of product handling capabilities and machines unique to Shuttleworth.
“With the recent lifting of COVID-19 restrictions and the lack of industry trade shows for over a year, we felt the need to be able to bring the trade show experience to the customer’s facility while adhering to the current CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 prevention,” explained Dan Nasato, Vice-President of Global Sales at Shuttleworth. “We believe our Slip-Torque roller surface is something that needs to be experienced firsthand to fully understand the product handling benefits and capabilities Shuttleworth can provide, and the Shuttleworth Roadshow accomplishes that.”
The Shuttleworth Roadshow will feature a variety of conveyor designs including their standard aluminum design as well as their new stainless-steel washdown conveyor, the Easy Clean 500. Plus, for the first time, Shuttleworth is unveiling a new comparison cell. This comparison cell presents three conveyors each with a different surface mat top, low back pressure chain and Shuttleworth’s Slip-Torque roller surface. Each surface is accompanied by a pressure plate and displays real-time statistical readouts of surface speed, line pressure force and motor rpm. “We are really excited to show off the new comparison cell, it’s easy to say your surface provides smooth, gentle and low-pressure product handling but now we can provide hard, visible proof to support those claims,” states Jason Rolleston, Marketing Manager at Shuttleworth. “Seeing these different conveyors perform side by side is a real eye opener in regard to Shuttleworth’s handling advantages and flexibility.”
