Request More Information ›Our Lift-and-Transfer (LAT) devices provide smooth and accurate conveyor transfer at a right angle to the original transport direction. The LAT mechanism is mounted within the conveyor frame and consists of two or more 'mini belt or chain conveyors' that reside below the roller surface when deactivated. Upon activation, the LAT device lifts the product above the conveyor surface and transports it 90 degrees in either direction to a predetermined point. High-speed LATs are also available for certain applications.
One Lift-and-Transfer device can transport products precisely to multiple transfer conveyor lanes based on barcodes or other product identification techniques. LATs can also transport the product to a different conveyor with a slightly higher roller surface, traveling 90 degrees in either direction. Conversely, an activated LAT can accept a product, laterally transport it, and then lower it to another conveyor traveling 90 degrees in either direction from the original transport direction.
