Merging and Laning Wrapped Frozen Pancakes - System Spotlight
This system was designed for one of our customers that wanted to transport, accumulate, combine and lane and divert frozen pancake stack packages. Featuring our stainless-steel wipe-down design, packages enter the system into two lanes from wrappers and travel to separate blade stops to accumulate. Using in-surface mounted sensors and a speed change, the blade stops lower to release a slug of packages from each lane. Overhead mounted guides combine the two lanes in preparation for diverting. The diverter design features flexible guides enabling a gentler diverting device while directing the product. Side stops and frame mounted sensors ensure an even number of products is properly distributed between the two lanes.
